Giving the Gift of Stock
IMPACT: You can easily give more by giving stock in just a few steps. Your support will have more of an impact!
WHY: Stock giving can minimize capital gains tax, and it enables you to help more by giving stock directly. It is an easy way to support the causes that matter to you most. Please consult your accountant before giving.
SET UP A DONOR-ADVISED FUND
IMPACT: A donor-advised fund is a private account created to manage and distribute charitable donations on behalf of an organization, family, or individual. This combines the contributions of multiple donors, multiplying their impact on worthy causes.
WHY: Donor-advised funds also have many tax advantages, such as immediate tax deductions, the ability to claim income tax deductions on the fair-market value of an asset, and more.

“I want to help to ensure the future of ABLE and LAWO
for those who desperately need their services.
By including them in my long-term giving, I feel confident there will always be a place for those who have no place to look for justice.
If we, as lawyers and public-minded citizens, don’t provide for the future of justice for all, who else is likely to do that?”
