If you’re heading to the show, stop by our table to see how we’re helping our neighbors, and how YOU can be part of the change. Every dollar helps us keep the promise of hope alive.

Our Impact:

As a main provider of free legal services to immigrants and refugees throughout Ohio, ABLE has assisted thousands of individuals and families fleeing violence and persecution in their homeland. Our Immigration Advocacy Project provides high-quality legal services to immigrants, refugees, and agricultural workers across all 88 counties of the state. We help those facing immigration challenges as they navigate the complex legal systems in this country, so they may have hope in building a more stable future and realize their own American dreams.

ABLE’s advocacy focuses on keeping families together, protecting victims of crime, and building stronger communities as we fight against discrimination and advocate for civil rights. We assist individuals who wish to apply for work authorization so they may become gainfully employed, and people seeking protection from harm in their home country through lawful means of applying for asylum or Temporary Protected Status. We also share critical information and updates with community partners who serve these same communities.

Compassionate donors also give to ensure that we continue to provide this crucial advocacy. Your financial support for our civil legal assistance will ensure this important work continues. Thank you for supporting our immigration advocacy efforts as we help those with civil legal issues.

At ABLE, we are at the forefront of protecting the legal rights of low-income immigrants and refugees as they attempt to lead safe and productive lives in our communities.
